Act Attack Lisbon

Act Attack was founded in Amsterdam in 2017 by George Rigo, who drew on a personal experience of transformation through theatre to build an organization focused on sharing performance skills with adult non-professionals. From its Amsterdam base, the company expanded to offer courses in Athens, Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, and Lisbon, with the Lisbon branch forming part of a coordinated European network. The Lisbon programming runs from the Gayatri Yoga space in the Baixa district, offering rolling beginner and intermediate cohorts with no prior experience required. The organization's expansion into Portugal represents part of a broader movement of English-language improv provision targeting expatriate and international communities in Southern European capitals.
