Funtastic Theater

Funtastic Theater was established in 2015 with an explicit mission combining culture, creative play, and self-development education. Founder Park Hyung-geun positioned the space as a first-of-its-kind dedicated improv venue in Korea and in Asia. The theater developed programming for both individual practitioners and corporate clients, running workshops and shows tailored to Korean audiences. Seoul City Improv, the country's oldest English-language improv troupe, has held its weekly open drop-in sessions at Funtastic Theater, with shows every Sunday evening. The venue has also hosted productions listed on BroadwayWorld's South Korea regional database, reflecting its role as a legitimate performance institution.

Funtastic Theater operates as both a producing organization and a shared civic venue for Korea's improv community.
