ImproVIBE is Greece's first and only dedicated improv comedy theatre school, founded in 2012 by Menelaos Prokos, offering classes and performances in English and Greek and producing the Mt. Olymprov international festival.

History

ImproVIBE was founded in Athens in 2012 by Menelaos Prokos as the first organisation in Greece dedicated specifically to improv comedy as both a teaching practice and a performance format. The school developed classes in English and Greek, serving both local and international audiences in a city with a significant English-speaking community. Alongside the educational programme, ImproVIBE applied improv techniques in business settings and created the Mt. Olymprov international improv festival, connecting Greece with the global improv circuit.

Artistic Identity

ImproVIBE operates across performance, education, and applied improv, using bilingual programming in English and Greek to serve both communities and building international connections through the Mt. Olymprov festival.

Legacy

As Greece's founding dedicated improv institution, ImproVIBE established both the training infrastructure and the international festival platform for Greek improv, and the Mt. Olymprov festival created a recurring venue for international exchange.
