Martinique Impro League
Martinique Impro League is a Fort-de-France theatrical improvisation league offering weekly workshops and monthly public shows with support from the Prefecture and City cultural affairs.
History
The Martinique Impro League established itself in Fort-de-France with institutional support from both the Prefecture and the City of Fort-de-France cultural affairs department, giving it a degree of public recognition unusual for an improv organisation. The league built a regular programme of weekly workshops and monthly public shows, applying the league format familiar from French-language improv traditions to the Caribbean French context.
Artistic Identity
Martinique Impro League operates the competitive league format within the Martinique context, combining weekly practitioner development through workshops with monthly public performance.
