SPIT Manila is Asia's self-described premier improvisational theater group, the longest-running performing improv group in the Philippines, active since 2009 and connected to the Manila Improv Festival.
History
SPIT has been performing improv comedy in Manila since 2009, establishing itself as the longest-running performing improv group in the Philippines. The company grew a significant following through live shows and social media, building an audience for improv in the Philippine capital over more than sixteen years. SPIT became connected to the Manila Improv Festival ecosystem, helping to anchor Filipino improv within a festival structure that subsequently grew into Asia's largest improv festival.
