History

Mari Rinaldi and Andy Ferrari founded Teatribu in Milan in 1999, establishing what became the city's primary improvisational theatre association. The company developed a three-year structured curriculum as its core training offering, progressing students from foundations through to professional-level performance. Teatribu performs completely improvised shows and delivers corporate training alongside its school programs. In 2017 the association received the Ambrogini d'oro, an award given by the City of Milan to recognise cultural contributions. In 2015, the company participated in Italia's Got Talent, reaching the semifinals and winning the Golden Buzzer from judge Luciana Littizzetto.

Artistic Identity

Teatribu performs completely improvised theatre and offers a three-year progressive training program. The company is affiliated with Italy's national Improteatro network and has the deepest international profile of any Italian improv organisation.

Legacy

Teatribu established Milan's improv culture over more than two decades, training thousands of performers through its structured curriculum and achieving national television visibility through Italia's Got Talent. The Ambrogini d'oro award recognised the company's sustained cultural contribution to Milanese public life.
