Cut To
Definition
An editing technique in which a performer calls out "Cut to..." followed by a new location or scenario, immediately transporting the scene to that context. The cut-to functions like a cinematic jump cut, allowing rapid shifts in setting while maintaining thematic or narrative continuity.
