Transformation
In Viola Spolin's system, transformation refers to the ability of players to change objects, environments, and relationships fluidly during a scene. An imagined chair becomes a throne becomes a raft. Transformation exercises develop flexibility and the ability to release attachment to fixed ideas about what is "supposed to" happen.
